Use AmplifyAI efficiently

Chat rate limits apply daily and monthly. Choose the settings and files that fit the task, and keep an eye on your usage.

Models and settings

Use Off or Low reasoning for most tasksWriting, summaries, brainstorming, planning, and routine analysis rarely need Medium or High. Use those levels for unusually complex mathematics or coding.
Use Web Search when you need current informationSelect the globe icon beneath the prompt window to turn it on. Leave it off for tasks that do not need current web information.

Images and files

All available models can analyze uploaded images. Check small text, numbers, and other consequential details yourself. GPT-5.6 Luna also supports simple image creation.

Upload only the files needed for the task. If a file is not recognized, confirm the upload finished, mention its filename, reattach it, or convert a scanned PDF to searchable text.

Usage limits

Daily limitDaily chat capacity renews at midnight Eastern Time.
Rolling 30-day limitThe monthly limit considers usage over the previous 30 days.

Make your capacity go further

  • Keep reasoning on Off or Low and leave Web Search off unless needed.
  • Start a new chat when you change topics and upload only relevant files.
  • Save reusable files in the File Manager and use assistants for repeated tasks.
  • Verify important facts, citations, calculations, quotations, policies, and dates.
