Faculty Research and Teaching Exchange
In collaboration with the Office of Research, The Faculty Research and Teaching Exchange brings together faculty members with common research and teaching interests. Each meeting will include a faculty member presenting their recent research or innovative teaching practices in a short, informal discussion. Meetings are held every two weeks on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoon in Stetson 137 on the Macon campus. A complete schedule will be published in August 2025, and meetings will begin in September.
AI Academy
The Center for Teaching and Learning AI Academy is a biweekly Zoom-based faculty development series designed to help faculty members explore the role of artificial intelligence in teaching, research, writing, and academic integrity. Each 50-minute session offers practical guidance on using AI tools, navigating evolving policies, and understanding AI’s growing influence across higher education. All sessions are open to faculty from any discipline and include Q&A faculty users and early adopters. Sessions will be held around the noon hour on Tuesdays and Fridays of selected weeks, with a session schedule to be published in August.
